We didn’t do any retakes. I made some edits to remove dead time, or where the action went off screen. I’ll upload another 1/3 of the board next week.

Once you have the elbow secured, could you also pivot and use the arm for a hip throw while maintainign the lock?

Sensei James showed a variation of this many years ago, but never explained it. He used to like to drop breadcrumbs and leave it to us to either figure out or not. And I never did figure this one out! So it was great to see it here.

Nice. I like to trap the push with the other hand to apply a mune osae dori on the fly, so this is a good alternative if I trap with the "wrong" hand.
